Heidelberg

Heidelberg is known as home of the oldest university in Germany, founded in the 14th century. This city is located in southwestern Germany and it is known for its beautiful old town with gothic streets and baroque buildings from 18th century. Enjoy the beautiful scenes with all the beauties Heidelberg can offer like the Gothic Heiliggeist church, red-sandstone ruins of Heidelberg Castle, the amazing Old Bridge or Karl-Theodor Bridge, the student cellar, the Philosoph Path, the famous Heligenberg, the main square in the old town, river Neckar, the Königstuhl and many more.

Take a walk with us on this beautiful autumn day and enjoy Heidelberg. We are walking along Hauptstrasse, starting at the Bismarckplatz, pass the Heiliggeistkirche and Karslplatz with a great view up to the castle. Then we turn to the river Neckar and cross the famous old bridge called “Alte Brücke”.
