South Cave

South Cave is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 14 miles (23 km) to the west of Hull city centre on the A1034 road just to the north of the A63 road. North Cave is approximately 2 miles (3 km) to the north-west. South Cave formerly held a town charter that has lapsed and the parish council no longer styles itself as a town. The civil parish is formed by the village of South Cave, the hamlet of Drewton and part of the hamlet of Riplingham. According to the 2011 UK Census, South Cave parish had a population of 4,823, an increase on the 2001 UK Census figure of 4,515. South Cave lies within the Parliamentary constituency of Haltemprice and Howden.
