Sorisole (Bergamasque: Surìsel) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,507 and an area of 12.3 square kilometres (4.7 sq mi). The municipality of Sorisole contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Petosino and Azzonica. Sorisole borders the following municipalities: Almè, Bergamo, Paladina, Ponteranica, Sedrina, Villa d'Almè, Zogno. Part of Sorisole's territory is part of Parco dei Colli di Bergamo and is crossed by river Quisa.
