Apinac

Apinac (French pronunciation: [apinak]) is a village and commune in the Loire department in central France. Apinac is in the extreme southwest of the Loire department, 41.7 kilometres (25.9 mi) southwest of Saint-Étienne. With a total area of 15.4 km2 and a total population of 397 inhabitants (in 2020), the population density is 25.9 inhabitants per km2. The church, dated to the 19th century, is noted for its colorful stained glass windows. Vivaro-Alpine, is the local dialect, which is also spoken in Ardèche or the Southern Alps.
